Digital Art

I've never thought much about digital art until recently.
But we seem to have had more and more contributions from digital artists over the last few challenges........and now I am being converted. We've already had some beautiful ATCs, tags and collages from you for the dragonfly challenge (you still have 2 weeks to join in), but I wanted to give these two pieces a particular mention.
The first is by Lori at http://ravenpainting.blogspot.com/ ....... absolutely stunning.
The second is by Lumilyon http://lumilyon.blogspot.com/ ........ totally enchanting.I hope you agree.
Now I want to learn how to do it!!

I know of a place online for digital classes, let me know and I can find it for you. Debby from PW took her first session and did awesome.

I am so computer illiterate but have seen some amazing things created digitally. Having a photography background I guess I should start playing around with some of this stuff. The images you posted here are amazing. I am in awe.

Those are very pretty! I'm torn on the whole digital art thing. I love to look at it online but I'm not really interested in it for trading or to hang in my home. I guess it's the whole texture thing I like about traditional artwork.

I've tried playing with digital work to see if I could change my mind but it's hard! You have to give props (well, you did ;))to the ones that are able to do it.

There are endless paths of creativity!! Those are beautiful- I agree with Jennifer above- I amazed by it - but I prefer non digital. Maybe it's just because I don't know how to do it!! LOL I might just have to learn!!!

I've been a huge fan of the amazingly talented Lumilyon for some time now. It's wonderful to see her featured here and exciting to discover Lori's art as well. Thank you for sharing the work of these two inspiring artists.

both of these have such a magical quality to them.....and HOW it's done I've not a clue! Not sure I am ready for the digital world myself, but it certainly is delightful to see!

Never having made any digital art myself, I am often amazed at what can be created on the computer. And both the images you highlight here are perfect examples!
