MORE GORGEOUS ENTRIES ...

We hope that having extra time means that more of you will feel able to take part this month? It's been particularly interesting to see that, presumably because of our photo theme, we've had a number of digital entries. Daisy's collage above makes me think of an old travel journal page, with pictures, hand written notes and pencil drawings. It makes a fantastic page for the book she's putting together, and really showcases the possibilities of digi work.

Patty on the other hand went for a paper based collage, and I love how she's used the figure of Aunt Rosina against a cottage backdrop. The colours against the black and white photo are particularly effective, but my favourite part is the teapot!!

Do keep the entries coming - you have until the next challenge (we're working on it) goes up on 22nd May .....

Hi My friend, for some reason just lately when i come here to read your page i can read the text. the whole blog seems to shrink into a slim line in the middle of the page that is barely ledgible. If i click on the pics they enlarge ok but the text does not and it looks really weird. Today i managed to work out where the comment bit is so i thought i had best let you know. I dont know if anyone else is having problems with it but its the only blog i am visiting that does that. Hope all is well with you and hope i can read properly soon as i am missing it
Hugs June xxx

Thank you for your comments on my journal page, but I feel I need to clarify something. The image shown forms part of my notes & is not the actual collage, which can be seen here.Memory being what it is, I needed a way to help me remember all the different elements used in my digital work & where they were sourced from.

what a lovely surprise to come by for a visit (don't want to miss visiting anyone) and to see Aunt Rosina in my garden ;) The only thing I would add to my arch is a flower in her hand......easy to see now that I look at it on the screen!

SO many lovely offerings for this splendid challenge!

I used Aunt Rosina and some melted wax the first day the challenge was posted so I am thinking I might do another one? There are so many wonderful ideas here to inspire you.

The entries are all wonderful, it has been so exciting to watch as one by one they pop onto the ABBA blog. I have really enjoyed seeing all the very different examples from the one picture. I know that My Great Aunt would feel very honoured at having this much attention. Thank you to Linda and Rosie for allowing my photo to be used and to everyone for doing such an amazing job with it, keep them coming, Cheers Jaqi xx
